There are a few guideline you must follow when posting a comment (or entry if you get to!).
Blog Points are awarded for posting comments to my specific posting question of the day.
First: Your name
In the name box, enter your name like this: First Name Last Initial, Period
Second: Your email
You will need an e-mail address (for responses, notifications, etc.). If you don’t have one, I can get you one. Make an appointment with me to set it up. It will be free.
Third: Your website
URL or Website is your personal website. That is optional.
Fourth: Your comment
• Discuss what you learned in class. Be specific.
• Give your own example or apply it to something.
• Use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• If you are sharing a website, copy and paste it if you don’t know HTML tags.
• Never disrespect someone in your post.
• Sharing frustrations is OK, but blaming someone is NOT OK.
• Comments are moderated by me, so it may not show up right away. If I don’t approve of your comment, it will not show up at all!
• Finally, only 1 comment per day.
Last: Your points
Blog Points are awarded for making comments, but the value of points is dependent upon the value of the comment. Comments like “Today we took notes” won’t get any Blog Points, but a comment like “This is a website I found that shows you how to graph a quadratic function” could get 4 Blog Points.
Extra Credit is given when you attain a level of 20 Blog Points. 20 Blog Points is worth 5 extra credit points. Essentially, 5 good comments earns you 1 point per comment.
